Local governments needing to improve public infrastructure and eliminate conditions detrimental to public health, safety, and public welfare may request grants up to $1,500,000 for Public Facilities to undertake projects designed to alleviate these conditions. The funding priority for this component is water, sanitary and storm sewer projects. Applications are judged competitively in the Fall-Winter of each fiscal year.
